Tim is an Associate Director, Research where he is responsible for conducting manager due diligence and supports the Investment Management Council with the identification and selection of partner managers. In addition, he is responsible for the research, allocation, and guidance for our non-discretionary investment management relationships. Tim is a firm shareholder.
Before joining Eolas, Tim served as Portfolio Analyst for SFP Wealth, a wealth management platform, part of Baystate Financial (a subsidiary of MassMutual), where he was responsible for the ongoing monitoring; research/due diligence (mutual funds, ETF’s and stocks) and trading of the firm’s discretionary models and client portfolios. Tim’s responsibilities also included liaison with wholesalers, clients, and consultants regarding the firm’s macro-economic outlook; portfolio positioning; asset allocation; performance and risk management.
At SFP Wealth, Tim led the firm’s innovation and scalability by employing statistical and object-oriented programing in the creation of custom forecast and optimization models. He collaborated in the development of new investment strategies, notably ESG and High Yield focused models, and Thematic strategies. He was also a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Tim graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. in Economics-Finance and an M.S. in Quantitative Finance. He is a CFA candidate.
